Sarriena is a steakhouse restaurant specialising in charcoal roasts that is located in a well-connected rural setting (next to the UPV/EHU and opposite the Sarriena soccer fields in Leioa). Its managers, belonging to the Sarriena group, retake their management and convert the old steakhouse, a traditional farmhouse that already houses a restaurant, in a new and ample gastronomic space. In this space, cuisine of tradition and market, they put in value product, flavor and seasonality, with a renewed and professional team.
The grill and the wood oven are the protagonists, along with a suggestive menu of fish and grilled meats, always with a local product and seasonal: steak, sirloin, roasted in wood oven, piglet, goat, lamb shoulder, turbot, sea bass , hake or clams in green sauce… Not forgetting other more current dishes with slow cooking and melting touches.
After the important renovation of its facilities and the latest equipment of its kitchen, Sarriena House offers two options of consumption in its two well differentiated spaces: restaurant and BBQ.
- The restaurant presents a carefully and elegant interior design with exquisite floral details that are integrated with the noble materials of stone and wood, creating a warm, modern and cosy atmosphere. The dining rooms, with their varied environments, are adapted to the different needs of the clients. The restaurant offers traditional cuisine and multi-cultural culinary fusion, both for special celebrations and for excellent daily menus from Monday to Friday and weekend menus. It also has a reserved for small celebrations or business lunches.
- The grill of Sarriena House has self-service and after the change it is more cheerful and informal and with zones to be chosen according to season; Summer outdoors or winter with air-conditioned spaces. Here the most traditional and popular cuisine is the protagonist: chicken, thighs, chorizo with cider, croquettes, peppers, tortilla, salad, steak, entrecote, sirloin, squid in its ink, calluses… These spaces are ideal to enjoy with family and group of friends.
Both inside and outside, the quality and service are excellent. A gastronomic space of tradition and vanguard that also stands out for its attractive exterior, with renovated gardens and play area, ideal for young families.
